I was lucky enough to be picked as part of my bronze win to take part in a mentoring day at the world of Wella in London with global creative director of sassoon academy Bruce Masefield. It was an amazing day of watching a true artist creating “perfect “shapes with his cutting skills. My brain was hurting as he filled it with inspiration, ideas and techniques..it is great to take the time and spend it with someone who can wow you and isn’t afraid to share their secrets..a great insight!! I can’t wait to get to back to our team and share it..get ready clients !!! – Helen
Visual Merchandiser at House of Fraser & Operations Manager. This fashionista pair buy loads of magazines and trawl the internet for inspiration.
We both loved Alexander McQueen and all he stood for. Thinking out of the box with colour & texture.
Jane calls nick a sneaker freak. Nick wishes he was a millepede so he could wear all of his trainers at the same time! These guys are regulars at the salon. Jane has an edgy high trend look which her hair compliments; a short bowl crop with a platinum blonde tone and Nick has a 90’s inspired undercut.

TrendVision is a great experience for any stylist, it allows you to think out of the box and really get involved in the process of something completely new.
What an amazing journey the past 2 years have been, first setting up our own salon, then myself and Jennie entering the competition and reaching the regional finals in Manchester to then go on and win a bronze medal at the finals, I’m overjoyed”
Simon is bass player for Exit Calm. His style is an eclectic mix of mod and indie with a modern twist. A long time band member, he often exaggerates his look on stage and takes influence from Paul Weller with the hair and by bands such as The Rolling Stones, The Jam and The Verve. We think he looks effortlessly cool.
We found Events Organiser, Stacey strutting her stuff on the streets of Sheff! With her smart casual, on trend look, Stachy show’s off her big voluminous blow-dried hair, filled out with hair extensions and saturated sunny blonde colours.
I love high street fashion. I’m definitely a Topshop, River Island girl
We love her fresh look and how she effortlessly manages to pull off a playsuit and pumps, whilst still looking glamourous. We give her the thumbs up.
Andrew is a barber at the Cutting Crew, and definitely an inspiration to all hairdressers with his Karl Lagerfeld inspired image. You never see this guy without being suited and booted. He’s dominated the barbering world in the steel city for over 49 years, wow, we think that’s pretty amazing. Such an interesting guy with pockets full of 80’s glamour photos of when he and friends were out on the nightclub scene in his heyday. We think he’s “still got it”.
We are all over Georgia’s (22 yrs. Hairdresser) quirky vintage inspired look. With her Vivienne Westwoodesque tan shoes and smart school satchel gives a smart preppy look. Her hair compliments her style great; an effortless undone updo is bang on trend. We see this pretty little thing walk past every day and she always has a different look. A style chameleon.
Retail Manager, Karen completely pulls off the smart casual appearance.
“I like to look classic with my everyday look.”
Sporting a one length shoulder length bob with a teardrop fringe. Keren chooses to go with a staple colour then I can jazz it up with bright coloured accessories and a classic tote bag.
I absolutely Victoria beckhams style. She’s a leader in my eyes.
